This year Tesco and BHF celebrated 10 years in partnership, a decade in which we’ve helped save and improve countless lives across the UK.

With extraordinary commitment to our cause, Tesco has raised an amazing £26 million for BHF, which will help accelerate lifesaving research and empower people nationwide to take control of their heart health.  Tesco has also committed to protecting the lives of their customers, staff and communities by installing over 3,000 defibrillators and registering them on The Circuit. 

In 2024 and 2025, we offered nearly 10,000 free blood pressure checks to people across the country, promoted heart healthy food choices to Tesco customers, and printed and distributed 850,000 heart health information leaflets. And, as part of the Health Charity Partnership, the ‘Let’s Talk’ programme continues to support around 1,500 Tesco pharmacy staff to talk to customers about cardiovascular diseases.

This award is for every Tesco colleague and customer recognising their outstanding support in helping us build a healthier nation.
