What is a fundraising group?

Learn more about what fundraising groups are, and how they help to support BHF's lifesaving research.

Fundraising groups are our voice in our local communities. They work on behalf of BHF to raise awareness and money for the lifesaving research we fund.

What does a fundraising group do?

Our groups are made up of dedicated volunteers. They host fundraising events and build relationships with local clubs and associations in their communities. These fundraising events can be anything you like – from coffee mornings to collections and summer balls.

Our fundraising groups come in many shapes and sizes. Group members have all kinds of motivations and skills. You can support our work in whichever way suits you best.

How can I help a fundraising group?

The key ways you can help our mission are:

  • raise vital funds and awareness for our cause
  • join in with fundraising campaigns
  • encourage others in your community to support BHF.
