Word of mouth recruitment
It’s important to let people know about the great work your group is doing and let them know you are looking for new members.
When you are out in the community hosting events or doing a talk, shout out for new members. People having fun and feeling inspired at your events might want to join in with your fundraising.
Press releases
Local press and radio is another way to find new members. We have put together press release templates for England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Sending this to local press and radio stations could help you find new members.

Email recruitment
Send people you already know an email in case they are interested. It’s always nice to have friendly faces join in. You can even amend and tailor the template we’ve created as you see fit.

Poster recruitment
There may be other members of your local community who would like to join that you don’t know. Put posters up in your local area to let people know.
