Over the last six decades, we’ve made great progress. But in the UK, more than one in four loved ones are still lost to heart and circulatory conditions. Your support enables us to continue our research and save more lives.
- £150 provides a day of support from a Cardiac Nurse on the Heart Helpline to answer patients’ questions, helping them to manage their condition and treatment
- £300 can pay for one day of a project building new healthy heart muscle
- £1,000 helps to teach secondary school pupils to save a life, by helping to fund a reusable CPR training kit
One of our amazing fundraisers and supporters, Belle, was born with a condition called Truncus Arteriosus. Without open heart surgery at just 9 days old, she wouldn’t have survived. Belle had her second surgery in May 2017 and she will need ongoing care and surgeries for the rest of her life.
Belle has been fundraising for the British Heart Foundation over the past two years with lots of different events, including fundraising to help fund life saving research in lieu of presents.Belle's inspirational story
