  • £108.4m from legacies (gifts in Wills)

We need your support

Every 3 minutes, someone in the UK dies from cardiovascular disease. Right now, more than 8 million people are living with a heart or circulatory condition across the country. Despite decades of progress, the number of people dying prematurely from cardiovascular disease has been rising again.

BHF-funded researchers are working to turn science fiction into reality through rapid advances in AI, genomics and regenerative medicine. We have the chance to prevent, treat and even cure heart diseases in ways we never thought possible.

We committed £108m of funding to research in 2024/25, so we can translate science into new diagnostics, treatments and even potential cures.

Thank you for your continued support and donations. But we still need your help. Donate today so we can help everyone have a healthier heart for longer.
