Louise’s executive experience includes being Global People Director for The Body Shop and Chief People Officer for high street footwear favourite Clarks, as well as senior roles with Marks and Spencer, British Airways, Menzies Aviation, and Emirates Airline.

Louise is currently a non-executive director and chairs remuneration and people committees for Suffolk Group Holdings (trading as Vertas Group), A2 Dominion Housing, and Saffron Building Society.

She is also an advisor and associate for a number of organisations and specialises in purpose-led leadership and culture, organisation design, and development and transformation areas.

As well as being a Trustee, Louise will also continue her roles as Chair of our Remuneration and People Committee, and as a member of our Nominations Committee.

Louise said: “I’m delighted to join the British Heart Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Throughout my career I’ve seen the power of purpose driven cultures to transform lives. BHF’s mission to save and improve lives through world-leading research deeply resonates with my own commitment to values led leadership and organisational transformation.

“I’m proud to lend my non-executive and executive experience to support such an important cause and to help shape a culture that enables people, and the organisation, to thrive.”

Karen Frank, Chair of Trustees, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome Louise to our Board. Louise’s breadth of experience leading people, culture, and organisational transformation across major global brands will bring invaluable insight to our work.

“And Louise’s deep understanding of purpose driven leadership and instinct for creating environments where people and organisations can thrive will be a tremendous asset as we continue to drive forward BHF’s mission.”
