BHF's Floggin' It
At the BHF, we have a number of Corporate Partnerships that play a vital role in supporting our cause - from fundraising and providing stock to choosing us as their Charity Partner of The Year.
With two market stalls at Leeds Kirkgate and Pontefract, the teams were given the task of selling stock to the public from local BHF shops and stores.
The main aim was to sell as much stock as possible, but the away day achieved so much more. Centred around the skills of negotiation, initiative, and team bonding, the task successfully engaged our Corporate Partners in our lifesaving work and highlighted the significance of their contribution towards retail revenue, volunteering and of course fundraising.
Sustainability and the importance of maximising profits on stock donations were also at the heart of the day, with teams being encouraged to bring their own preloved items to donate to our shops and re-generate stock.
In total, the day raised an amazing £580 for our lifesaving research, with all the stock and money being returned to the local BHF shops and stores.
