At the start

Friends and family are very welcome to come along and support you at the start and on the ride as part of your support team. Encourage them to ramp up the red and support us.

The route

We provide a fully signed route with daily briefings to keep you on track.

Because of the nature of this event, facilities vary along the route. Where possible, check points are based near local amenities and essential facilities such as toilets, and in some cases, showers.

Six marshal cars, a medical vehicle and bike mechanics will be out on the course each day. Other vehicles will travel up and down the route throughout the day, and be at designated stop points.

Day one

Your ride begins at Chelsfield Lakes Golf Club, Orpington. We will ride 70 miles through the Kent countryside to Hythe before we get on Eurotunnel to France.

Day two

We depart from Marquise and head down towards Vallee de la Course before the final push towards the gothic grandeur of Amiens Cathedral - approximately 84 miles.

Day three

90 miles of riding takes you south through Marines, Orgeval and finally to the finish line at the Palace of Versailles. Then it’s time to celebrate at our fabulous end of ride dinner.

At the finish you'll be presented with your medal and then have time to freshen up at you hotel ready for our end of ride dinner.

We'll return home on Tuesday 8 September 2015.
