Be part of an amazing cycling event in September 2016. You'll have an unforgettable three days as you cycle 400k through some of the best English and French countryside.

It's a tough team or solo rider challenge - but it's your chance to fight for every heartbeat.

Join us in September 2016 for a unique overseas challenge as you cycle on our beautiful bespoke route to the French capital. We organise the whole event and will look after you every pedal of the way. 

You can join our London to Paris challenge as:

  • a team - you can cycle the whole route together or as a relay
  • an individual - we will support you all the way with transport for you and your bike

Take part as a team

You can choose how your team takes on the challenge: 
  • everyone cycling the whole route
  • as a relay
  • enter more than one team

Registration fee covers travel for you, your support vehicle and equipment to France and back on the Eurotunnel. 

We’ll also provide a meal for the whole team at the end of ride on Monday evening. We will contact you before the event to collect details about your vehicle and menu choices.

If you would like to sign your team up all together rather than individually online please use our registration form (PDF coming soon), fill it in and send it to us with the payment.

Support driver

You will need a support driver and a vehicle that can fit your team and their bikes in. Your support driver will be one of your most important team members; they’ll supply you with food and drink along the route, give some mechanical support and encouragement. Your support team is not limited to one person. 

Accommodation and meals are not included in your entry fee, but we can give you plenty of advice on where to stay and when to buy food. There's also a breakfast and lunch option which you can buy separately more information coming soon.

Individual challenge

Your individual registration fee covers travel for you and your bike to France and back on the Eurotunnel. We’ll also provide a celebratory meal at the end of the ride on Monday evening. 

We will contact you before the event for your menu choices.

Raise money to power our research

We ask everyone to raise at least £500 in sponsorship. Your fundraising helps our researchers to continue their life saving research.

Get fit for your challenge

Plan your training with expert tips and advice in our cycling training zone. Remember to start gently, build up gradually and train regularly.

Accommodation is not included in the entry fee so make sure you book your accommodation before you go. We can recommend the best places to stay and you can also download our accommodation guide (PDF) for more information.

Make sure you have the right kit

Take a look at our recommended cycling kit list on what to wear for the ride and what to take with you. A helmet is essential.

British Cycling membership

We strongly recommend all riders take out appropriate insurance. British Cycling membership includes insurance and they’ll donate £4 for every Ride Membership Package our riders sign up for. Find out about the great membership benefits.

Get your family and friends involved

Invite your family and friends to take part with you. They can come and cheer you along as part of your support team. 

They can take part in the celebratory meal for £35. 

They could come and be part of our volunteer team and help make the event a success.
