Perfect with grilled fish and meat, this coriander and green pepper chutney is also good with pakoras and kebabs

  1. Chop the green pepper and chillies into chunks.
  2. Put the green pepper, chillies and all the remaining ingredients in a blender and liquidise until smooth.
  3. Store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 3-4 days

Cook's tips

  • To retain the fresh green colour, serve the same day. You can also add onion or fresh mint

6 hot green chillies

4 tablespoons coriander stalks and leaves, chopped

1 tablespoon lemon juice or 1 small raw mango or 1 cooking apple

1 tablespoon water

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
