Preparing for Heart Surgery - Film Premiere
Saturday 9th February - London
We are very excited to announce the world premiere of our new 'Preparing for Heart Surgery' film series. Last year we worked closely with members of Teen Heart and One Beat, as well as healthcare professionals, to create 9 short films which will provide support and advice to young heart patients during their surgery journey.
The topics covered in the films include finding out you need surgery, beating boredom in hospital, your surgical team, heading home, going back to education or work and more.
We are very proud of these films and everyone involved in the production and can’t wait for as many of you as possible to see it. So don’t miss out on being one of the first to view them.

During the day you'll work together to complete two simulated space missions, as well as taking part in a live rocket show, before finishing the day taking in a show in the planetarium.
Spaces are limited so do miss out on this great event! We'd be over the moon to see you there.

The Crystal Maze
For our final event of 2018 members of Teen Heart and One Beat came together for a festive Christmas dinner before joining forces to take on the ultimate TV show challenge and team building exercise…… the Crystal Maze!
Each team had to make their way through different adventure zones collecting crystals along the way and we’re very happy to announce that everyone escaped!
On Saturday 13th October in Leeds our Teen Heart members learnt how to create their own stop motion animations. They imagined and created their own stories and characters from superheroes to astronaut dogs. Then using stop motion techniques they brought them to life.
On Tuesday 31st July 2018 Teen Heart members headed to cookery school.
After splitting into two teams the competition was on. Under the watchful eye of head chef Neil, each team had 2 hours to prepare a healthy and delicious two course meal. Creations such as five-spice chicken,
saffron rice and a delicious rocky road were quickly whipped up.
After tasting everything it was clear that everyone was a winner. Well done to everyone who attended, we hope you're putting your new kitchen skills to good use.
