Use your pedal power to save lives

Completely planned, organised and managed by the British Heart Foundation, this event exists in order to raise funds for our life saving research. Research that will, one day, put a stop to the devastation caused by heart disease. This year we are asking you all to try and raise at least £100 to make a difference.

Creating an online fundraising page is the easiest way to raise money. It takes a few minutes to set up and a link can then be easily shared with your friends and family on social media and by email. Remember, you're taking part in an amazing challenge - people will want to support you.

The Route

*Route update. We will have a full route map and more detailed description available soon.

This event is the perfect summer time adventure, with exclusive access to closed private paths you’ll experience a ride and views that members of the public won’t. The terrain of the 20 mile route is ideal for beginners - not too technical and the climbs are fairly gently. The 35 mile route steps up the climbing, with a number of calf burning inclines that will put even the toughest to the test. And for experienced mountain bikers, this route has an optional, technical 10 mile additional loop, that will take you through Friston Forest's adrenaline pumping off-road trails.

The finish site will have lots of things to do if you have any family and friends who aren’t keen on cycling but want to come down and have a fun day out anyway!

This route is being designed exclusively for the British Heart Foundation by Rough Ride Guide.

More information about the route will be added soon including maps, GPX files and terrain profiles, in the meantime we are uploading a series of preview video clips that will give you an idea of the terrain, views and some things to expect on the big day.
