While research creates the breakthroughs of tomorrow, people living with cardiovascular disease need trusted information, timely care and practical support today. That’s why our Heart Helpline responded to more than 26,000 enquiries and our online health information was viewed more than 3 million times every month.

In an age of misinformation, providing trusted information for patients and families is more important than ever.

Building a nation of lifesavers

Beyond direct support, our work building a nation of lifesavers continued with over 190,000 more people trained in CPR using our RevivR tool, and nearly 18,500 defibrillators newly registered on The Circuit.

Making cardiovascular care a national priority

And after years of calling for action through our Hearts Need More campaign, the Government’s new 10 year health plan for England committed to a detailed set of standards for cardiovascular prevention, diagnosis and treatment, known as a Modern Service Framework.

We are helping shape its implementation while advocating for the same focus in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
