Our N. Ireland and Scotland shops to reopen

British Heart Foundation (BHF) Northern Ireland and Tier 4 Scotland shops will reopen at 9:30am on Friday 11th December, following temporary closures.

As the Northern Ireland lockdown and Tier 4 restrictions in areas of Scotland are lifted, our shops and stores will be back up and running across both countries at the end of the week.

Our shops in Northern Ireland have been closed for just over two weeks following the NI Executive’s decision, while shops in parts of Scotland were closed for three weeks due to restrictions in localised areas (Glasgow, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, East Ayrshire, South Ayrshire, Stirling and West Lothian).

Senior Regional Director Jane Flannery said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming back our customers in Northern Ireland and Scotland this week, so that our shops can continue raising vital funds for heart research. Our number one priority will remain keeping our staff, volunteers and customers safe, as we reopen our doors.

"We hope that our supporters in both communities will show their support as we reopen, by visiting their local shop, helping us to support the 225,000 people living with heart and circulatory disease in Northern Ireland and 720,000 people living with heart and circulatory disease in Scotland, and address the current shortfall in our research funding.”

All of the BHF’s shops and stores across England and Wales have also now reopened following national lockdowns, with safety measures in place. If you have a query regarding a purchase or collection of donations from one of our shops or stores, please take a look at our customer service page for more information.

Your support is needed more than ever

The Covid-19 crisis has had a devastating impact on the BHF’s income, cutting our research funding in half and putting future life saving discoveries at risk. We are urgently appealing for your support as we reopen our shops and stores across Northern Ireland and Scotland, helping us raise vital funds at a time when hearts need help more than ever.
