PANDORA launches new BHF charm

Celebrities including Laura Whitmore, Zara Martin, Laura Hayden, Angela Scanlon, Zoe Hardman and Leah Weller visited Bumpkin, South Kensington this afternoon for an Afternoon Tea and pampering experience to mark the launch of PANDORA’s new heart charm, designed exclusively for us. 

The exclusive Wear it. Beat it. event, which was hosted by Laura on behalf of us and PANDORA, saw guests donning a touch of red to show their support for our upcoming fundraising day. Upon arrival the ladies were treated to a variety of beautifying treatments including hand massages, red manicures and a red lipstick tutorial.

Laura Whitmore said: “It’s been an honour hosting the British Heart Foundation’s Wear it. Beat it. event with PANDORA. It was a fantastic opportunity to get together with some of my friends to celebrate the launch of PANDORA’s new charm for the BHF. The BHF has saved thousands of lives by raising money for ground breaking research across the UK and I think I can say on behalf of everyone who attended that we are so pleased to be able to support such a wonderful cause. I will be wearing my new PANDORA charm with pride on 6 February for Wear it. Beat it.” 

Working together

PANDORA has pledged to donate £50,000 to us, supporting our fight for every heartbeat in 2015. This is the third charm PANDORA has designed for us to mark our 18 month partnership. The latest addition to the collaboration is crafted from sterling silver and features an intricate openwork design, with clear cubic zirconia hearts, acting as a poignant reminder of the battle many people face trying to beat coronary heart disease – the UK’s single biggest.

Peter Andersen, President of Western Europe at PANDORA said: “PANDORA is extremely proud to be supporting the British Heart Foundation in the fight against heart disease. Following the success of our previous two charms it is evident how much the BHF means to our customers. We hope that our new charm will continue to raise awareness of this fantastic cause.”

Our Fundraising Director, Louise Parkes added: “There was such an overwhelming response when we launched our first two charms, so we are really excited to be able to share the third charm with our supporters. As a charity we rely on the support of organisations such as PANDORA to help fund our lifesaving research. Together we have created three truly stunning keepsakes for those touched by heart disease.”
