Fundraising in Scotland
It’s only thanks to our volunteers and supporters that we can continue our life saving research. There are lots of ways that you can get involved and support our work in Scotland.
Do your own thing
Organise your own fundraising activity for BHF Scotland. You can do whatever you want in the way that suits you, whether it’s an online event with friends or an outdoor challenge. Our A-Z of fundraising ideas has got loads of inspiration to get you started.
Volunteer
From helping at your local BHF Scotland shop to individual volunteering roles in your community, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.
Whether you want to volunteer from your own home, get involved in your community, or use your digital skills, we’ll work with you to find the right opportunity.
Fundraising groups
If you’d like to get together with other people in your area, your local fundraising group would love to hear from you. Our fundraising groups bring together volunteers to organise engaging local events, including collections, speaking at local clubs, and working with schools and businesses.
BHF Scotland shops
We have 75 high street shops and furniture & electrical stores, and they play a huge part in funding our vital research. There are many ways to support them, from giving time as a volunteer to donating your unwanted items.
Clubs and associations
Sports clubs, schools, Young Farmers, YPI Schemes, Masonic lodges, WI, Rotary clubs and more – in communities across Scotland we’re working with a huge variety of local clubs, societies and associations to help them make a difference. We can provide you with speakers, support your fundraising and help you meet your objectives.
Events
From the annual Kiltwalk events across Scotland in Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and Edinburgh, to the Edinburgh Marathon festival, there are numerous events which you can take part in to raise money to support our work.
Please contact April Davidson to discuss your event ideas.
Corporate partners
We’re always looking to partner with you and your workplace to help achieve your goals.
