What is the group all about?
Salford Heart Care aims to improve the health & wellbeing of older people in Salford through peer-to-peer support. We aim to prevent heart disease and heart attacks, reduce social isolation, improve general health & wellbeing, provide after care for people with heart conditions & long-term illnesses, & reduce the risk of further heart attacks.
We provide support through our "Healthy Heart Clubs" - offering a range of activities to promote wellbeing including gentle exercise, chair yoga, relaxation, holistic therapies & healthy living advice. The clubs are also an excellent source of social support for those feeling lonely or isolated.
