We offer friendship and support to cardiac sufferers and their partners, families, and carers, at our monthly meetings with speakers covering topics around all types of cardio-vascular disease and other related illnesses.
Addresses have been given by cardiologists, surgeons, GPs, pharmacists, rehabilitation, and Local Authority officials to the Group on related cardio-vascular topics.
Three of our meetings are for non-medical speakers. Trips out (mainly for carers) have been arranged. Time is set aside for members, carers to chat about their illness and concerns and to socialise with other members.
