From saving lives to helping the environment, donating the items you no longer need can do a world of good.

Here are just a few reasons to help get you motivated.

Donate your items

Why have a clear out?

  • Value your things more: Keep what you love, donate those you don’t. They will be treasured by someone new!
  • Less is more: Fewer things in your home/wardrobe, means less to maintain, clean, or organise - giving you space and peace of mind.
  • Declutter and do good: Giving away your preloved items can help us to raise funds into vital life saving research for heart and circulatory diseases.
  • Help the environment: We sell 94% of all clothing donated to us, reducing the environmental impact of producing new textiles.

Why support us?

  • In the UK, every 3 minutes a family loses a loved one to heart and circulatory disease.
  • Every pound raised, every minute of your time and every donation to our shops, will help make a massive difference and help to fund life saving research.
  • We saved 14,000 tonnes of clothing from going to landfill in 2018. Donations like yours help us to reduce the environmental impact of waste.
  • If we can't sell your donations in store, we do our best to re-use or recycle them through approved traders.

Donating with us is easy

  • You fill it up: To help reduce single-use plastic, we no longer provide free donation bags. Please reuse your own bags and boxes to donate your unwanted items.
  • We pick it up: Our collection service for donating smaller items to our shops is temporarily unavailable, please check back for updates on when this service will resume. Alternatively, drop your donations off to your local shop using the contact free drop points at shop entrances, or post to us via our freepost donation service.
  • You post it: You can post your donations to us for free by using our freepost donation service. Send us your best items in the post through 7,500 collect+ points.
  • Gift aid tops it up: Adding gift aid to your donations boosts your contribution by 25%. This means you are helping fund more life saving research at no extra cost to you.
