Wharfedale General Hospital Cardiac Club is a registered charity which provides enjoyable exercise classes for those who are rehabilitating from a cardiac event or those with cardiac risk factors or who wish to exercise for preventative reasons.
Exercise sessions are held under the supervision of qualified instructors who lead exercises which allow members to improve strength, stamina, suppleness. and balance.
Subject to certain conditions to ensure fitness to exercise, membership is open to anyone who has had a cardiac event, is at risk from a cardiac event or wishes to exercise for preventative reasons. Partners of members are also welcome to take part in exercise sessions.
