What is the group all about?

We are a self-help, voluntary group providing support to those who have been affected by a cardiac event or condition. Our group welcomes family and friends, as we understand that the impact is felt by those around us too. Our routine meetings will include specialist speakers, as well as opportunities for you to share, ask questions, and simply be among people who understand how you may be feeling. We also believe it’s important to have some fun, so we plan to include social elements over time.

The previous group dispersed around the time of the pandemic, and we are now picking up that baton. The group is supported by, and supports the work of, various NHS cardiac teams (specifically those based at Croydon University Hospital).
