Heart of Bristol Business Board
A group of local business leaders in Bristol who are raising vital funds in support of BHF’s lifesaving research.
Heart of Bristol Business Board was formed in 2022.
It’s made up of passionate and committed individuals who are on a shared mission to help raise funds towards lifesaving research in Bristol.
Every 10 hours someone dies from a heart or circulatory disease in Bristol.
This is what drives the group to make a real difference.
Heart of Bristol Business Board works closely with Sarah George who is the Professor of Cardiovascular Signalling and Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences at University of Bristol. Her research focuses on new therapies for heart and vascular diseases.

I am excited by the opportunity to support the brilliant lifesaving BHF research taking place across Bristol. By harnessing the power of the Bristol and West business community, and leveraging support from across our networks, we aim to raise awareness, empower local businesses and raise significant funds for this wonderful and inspiring organisation.
