Walk for Hearts - new Trekking Challenge 2027

British Heart Foundation (BHF) are launching an exciting new trekking series across the UK – and you could be among the first to take it on. Be part of something epic and join us in 2027!

Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or looking for your next big goal, explore breathtaking landscapes and make every step count on a trek with BHF. It's a challenge designed to inspire, test your endurance, and connect you with a community who share your passion for making a difference.

Every mile you trek whether that's over a half or full marathon distance, will help fund lifesaving research and support for those affected by heart and circulatory diseases.

If this isn't the event for you but you still want to join BHF's team, why not look at our Walk for Hearts virtual challenge taking place in February 2026. Keep hearts beating by walking 28, 50 or 100 miles in a month.

Fundraising

There will be a fundraising pledge and registration fee when signing up to this event; exact details will be communicated when we open registrations in 2026. Registration fees contribute to our event running costs and not towards BHF's incredible work. We ask for a minimum fundraising pledge so your donations can support lifesaving research into heart and circulatory diseases.
