Alison's story

young woman taking part in a tandem skydive

"On 3 October 2012, I lost my dad to a heart attack. It completely rocked my world. He left behind a wife, two children, and three grandchildren.

"On my birthday in 2014, my other half Scott gave me a skydiving voucher. I contacted the skydiving company and scheduled my jump for 4 October 2015, almost exactly 3 years to the day that I lost my dad.

"I asked Scott if I could use the skydive to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation. He was delighted and we raised £700 in total.

"I just absolutely loved the whole skydiving experience. Once we came down, I wanted to get straight back up there! It’s on my list to do it again!"

Amount you need to raise

 Amount  Payable
£50 registration fee

When you sign up, to secure your booking.

£400 minimum sponsorship money Must be paid two weeks before you jump.

This covers the skydive costs and a minimum sponsorship amount so we can fund our life saving research.

But do not fear, there are plenty of ways you can achieve this. In fact, most fundraisers actually raise more than £400.

If you don't manage to meet your fundraising target, you can still take part in the skydive if you can cover the rest of the cost yourself.
