Tower of London
Steeped in history this iconic London landmark plays host to the Tower of London Run for the 39th time in 2017. Have the opportunity to run in the footsteps of Royalty and join our fight against heart disease. The route is entirely on grass and consists of 1km laps around the moat, you can walk, jog or run up to 10k.
Early bird pricing finishes on 6 January 2017.
Your entry fee covers the cost of organising the event. It's the money you raise that powers our life saving research.
Runners under 18 must register by completing a downloadable entry form. On event day they must be accompanied at all times by an adult.

Make your travel plans
Tower of London,
By foot or bike
There are usually three bicycle stands at the Tower, located next to the main shop.
Tower Hill is the nearest station. Follow signage to the Tower of London at the exit, and please the site via the East Gate.
By Docklands Light Railway
Tower Gateway Station is located next to Tower Hill station.

By River Boat
Nearest river access - Tower Pier. Riverboats for Tower Pier depart from Charing Cross, Westminster and Greenwich.
Note there is no parking at the Tower of London. The nearest coach and car park is situated on Lower Thames Street, a two minute walk to the main entrance. The car park has a lift and stairs. Pedestrian walkways are clearly marked, and show the direction of exit to the Tower of London and pay machines.
We want to put a stop to the devastation caused by heart disease, through our life saving research. We rely on your fundraising to ensure this vital work can continue. Together we will improve the lives of babies born with heart defects, find the genes that cause inherited heart conditions and one day find a cure for heart failure and heart disease.
We are asking everyone to raise at least £50 per person in sponsorship for this event.
Creating an online fundraising page is the easiest way to raise money. It takes a few minutes to set up and a link can then be easily shared with your friends and family on social media and by email. Remember, you're taking part in an amazing challenge - people will want to support you.

The route is made up of 1km laps in the Tower's moat, the run is entirely on grass.
A secure baggage drop area will be available for a suggested £1.00 donation.
Portaloos and changing rooms will be available in marquees in the moat.
There are many cafes around the outside of the moat. Water will be available at the start and finish, and en route.
The event is fully signed & marshaled, with first aid cover provided.
Friends and family are very welcome to come along and encourage you around the course. Dogs, on tight leads, are also welcome as part of the cheering squad.
