London to Brighton
Ride from capital to coast in our legendary bike ride. Join 28,000 other cyclists and help celebrate the 40th year of this event with us. Use your pedal power to help fund our life saving research.

Take part in a team
In preparation for registration think about who you will take part with. If you are riding as part of a team only the team leader needs to register and they will receive an email with a unique link so they can invite others to join their team. Team mates have until 16:00 on Friday 15 May to register and pay for their place.
Riders aged 14 – 17 years old
If you are 14 – 17 years old, you will need to have your parent or guardians consent to take part in the bike ride. A consent form will be sent to you following successful registration, or you can download one. You will not be able to ride without your guardian's approval.

Getting to the start
Our coach and lorry service
We offer a coach and lorry service to take you and your bike to the start line in London or collect you after you've finished. Tickets cost £24 per person, per journey. You can book this when you sign up or by downloading the order form. See below for the locations and times we travel to and from.
Before the bike ride - services to Clapham Common, London leave from:
Madeira Drive: between 4.30am – 6.30am
Haywards Heath: between 5.30am – 6.30am
Crawley: between 5.30am – 6.30am
After the bike ride - services depart from Hove Lawns, Brighton to:
Crawley: coach leaves at 7pm
Couldson: coach leaves at 7pm
Clapham Common: between 12.30pm – 7.30pm
Train travel on bike ride day
Southern Railway and First Capital Connect have special restrictions in place over the bike ride weekend. Bike are not allowed on their service on Sunday 21 June 2015. For more information please visit Southern Railways website.
Parking in Brighton
Brighton and Hove City council provide convenient parking on Brighton seafront for larger vehicles. For smaller vehicles like minibuses, van and cars, Kings House car park on Hove seafront is ideal. It's approximately a ten minute cycle from the finish line along the cycle lanes and will be staffed too.

Park and Ride
Brighton Racecourse operates a Park and Ride service between the Racecourse and the finish at Maderia Drive. The car park is open from 7am to 7pm on bike ride day.

Your rider number and start time
You'll receive your rider number and start time in May 2015. We'll do our best to give you your requested start time. If your requested start time is full, we'll give you the closest possible time. You can set off later than your allocated start time, but not any earlier.
Make sure you have the right kit
Take a look at our recommended kit list on what to wear on the day and what to take with you. A helmet is essential.
On the day
At the start
Arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before your allocated start time. There is no need to register, just make sure your rider number is clearly visible, as you won’t be able to start the ride without it.
Your rider number and start time will be sent to you closer to the time of the event. If you haven’t received them by event day then come along to the information tent at the start line, which opens at 5:30
At the start you'll also find, toilets, refreshment stands and a merchandise tent where you can buy our exclusive London to Brighton Bike Ride 2015 t-shirt (£12.50) and hoodie (£20.00).
There will be marshals, first aid and mechanical support along the route. There are also rest stops with toilets and refreshments.
You'll be given a route card on the day, which highlights the route you will be riding. The 54 mile route is on a road and is quite hilly.
At the finish
There will be entertainment to welcome you to the finish line. Toilets will be available and there will be food and drink on sale. You will also be able to purchase the London to Brighton Bike Ride 2015 t-shirt and hoodie.
