You'll receive your rider number and start time in May 2015. We'll do our best to give you your requested start time. If your requested start time is full, we'll give you the closest possible time. You can set off later than your allocated start time, but not any earlier.
Make sure you have the right kit
Take a look at our recommended kit list on what to wear on the day and what to take with you. A helmet is essential.
On the day
At the start
Arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before your allocated start time. There is no need to register, just make sure your rider number is clearly visible, as you won’t be able to start the ride without it.
Your rider number and start time will be sent to you closer to the time of the event. If you haven’t received them by event day then come along to the information tent at the start line, which opens at 5:30
At the start you'll also find, toilets, refreshment stands and a merchandise tent where you can buy our exclusive London to Brighton Bike Ride 2015 t-shirt (£12.50) and hoodie (£20.00).
There will be marshals, first aid and mechanical support along the route. There are also rest stops with toilets and refreshments.
You'll be given a route card on the day, which highlights the route you will be riding. The 54 mile route is on a road and is quite hilly.
At the finish
There will be entertainment to welcome you to the finish line. Toilets will be available and there will be food and drink on sale. You will also be able to purchase the London to Brighton Bike Ride 2015 t-shirt and hoodie.
