Managing high blood pressure

It’s estimated that millions of people across the country have undiagnosed hypertension. Many of those who have been diagnosed are not treated to target. Together, we can change this picture.

We've produced a two-page guide to support the wider primary care teams in England (practice nurses, healthcare assistants and admin staff).

It details high blood pressure data for each practice and how those statistics compare with the averages for the integrated care system (ICS) and England. The report can be used to review high blood pressure activity and provides an engaging summary to share with colleagues as an improvement tool for the practice.

See a sample of the high blood pressure resource for GPs.

To order a copy for your practice, or for GPs in a specific primary care network (PCN), health region or other areas (please provide details) email [email protected]

We do not have aggregate reports for PCNs - please refer to OHID Fingertips and CVDPrevent/QOF data directly, or email us for further information.

We do have a summary report for each of England's 42 integrated care systems (ICS) - email [email protected] to request a copy.
