BHF partnership with Tesco and health charities among most admired
Our partnership with Tesco and other health charities has been voted one of the ‘most admired’ in the C&E Advisory’s 2026 Corporate–Non-Profit Partnerships Barometer report.
For the fourth year running, the report revealed our partnership with Tesco, Cancer Research UK, and Diabetes was among the most admired by partnership professionals.
Our partnership led the rankings for three years, and this year moves into second place behind two joint winning partnerships: Ikea and the World Wide Fund for Nature, and Greene King and Macmillan Cancer.
Launched in 2018 the collaboration between Tesco and its charity partners is unique, helping the nation to improve our health under its strap line ‘Helping you to live healthier’. Since its launch, it has delivered health insights and interventions relating to cardiovascular disease, cancer and type 2 diabetes and raised over £34 million[IB1.1] for the three charities.
'Let's Talk'
In 2022, we launched ‘Let's Talk’, a joint initiative delivering specialist training to Tesco pharmacists to support their conversations with customers.
Through the programme, Tesco pharmacists and pharmacy colleagues across more than 220 sites increased their knowledge of diabetes, cancer and heart and circulatory diseases by completing a range of e-learning modules, enabling them to provide further information, resources and support to help reduce people’s risk of developing these health conditions.
