Vernon Kay announced as BHF Ambassador
We are delighted to announce that Vernon Kay has joined us as our new BHF Ambassador. 
The much-loved radio host has shared his pride of being announced as the our newest celebrity ambassador. Vernon, has supported the us for over four years, helping to honour dedicated supporters, inspirational researchers and remarkable heart patients at our prestigious Heart Hero Awards.
In his first official outing as our Ambassador, Vernon will be returning to his role to host, presenting the annual Heart Hero Awards for the 5th time. Taking place at Glaziers Hall, the star-studded event honours our incredible supporters who’ve gone above and beyond to help others while coping with the devastating impact of heart disease.
Vernon will be joined by fellow Ambassadors Pippa Middleton, David and Frankie Seaman, and Kimberley Hart-Simpson, along with celebrity judges and supporters including, Olympic gymnast Becky Downie, Will Njobvu and S Club members Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, and Bradley McIntosh.

Talking about his new appointment Vernon said: “I am honoured to take on the role and excited that my first official duty as BHF Ambassador will be presenting the Heart Hero Awards for the fifth time. Every year it is such a privilege to meet so many inspiring people, their stories always bring tears to my eyes. The event is such a wonderful way of recognising all the incredible people who play an important role in helping the BHF make such a difference to so many lives.
