BHF shops and stores to close on day of the funeral of Her Majesty The Queen
Our 700 UK shops and stores will be closed on the day of Her Majesty The Queen’s funeral (Monday 19 September) as a mark of respect.
We will close all our shops and stores so that our colleagues, volunteers and customers can watch the funeral and reflect on Her Majesty’s remarkable legacy with their families.
Home collections booked for Monday 19 September will be rescheduled, and we are contacting customers this week to rearrange these as a priority.
Allison Swaine-Hughes, our Retail Director, said: “Our thoughts remain with the Royal Family during this period of national mourning and reflection.
“As a mark of respect, the BHF’s 700 UK shops and stores will be closed on Monday 19th September. This will give our colleagues, volunteers and customers the opportunity to reflect on the remarkable contribution of Her Majesty The Queen to public life, on the day of her funeral.
“We look forward to welcoming our customers back to our shops and stores when they reopen on Tuesday 20th September.”
