Omaze Million Pound House Draw to raise funds for the BHF

We are partnering with online charity fundraising platform Omaze for a second time, to raise vital funds for lifesaving research.

Omaze is offering one lucky person the chance to win a stunning £3 million house in North London to help us fund more research into heart and circulatory diseases .

This is the second time we have partnered with Omaze. Back in 2021, we were their second charity partner, with that campaign raising an incredible one million pounds to fund urgent research during the most uncertain of times.

The house lowdown

Situated in Islington, just a stone’s throw from central London, the three-storey, Victorian family home, boasts four bedrooms, an open living space arranged over the entire ground floor and a purpose-built garden studio. The guaranteed winner will also be given £100,000 cash to help them settle in - and is free to either live in the house, rent it out or sell it.

As well as making its grand prize winner a multi-millionaire - the London II House Draw will also help fund our groundbreaking research into heart and circulatory diseases. With 7.6 million people living with these conditions in the UK, our research aims to find new cures and treatments to help save and improve more lives.

Our Chief Executive, Dr Charmaine Griffiths, said: "We are absolutely delighted to join forces with Omaze once again. Despite phenomenal progress in research over the last 60 years, heart and circulatory diseases - including heart attack, stroke - kill one in four people in the UK and are the world’s biggest killers.

“The money raised will help British Heart Foundation to fund more research to save and improve the lives of all of those affected by heart and circulatory diseases in the UK.”

Celebrity support for the draw

The draw is being backed by former French international footballer and Tottenham Hotspur star, David Ginola - who back in 2016 suffered a cardiac arrest on a football pitch and was given CPR for 9 minutes, he went on to have a successful quadruple heart bypass.

David, who has been supporting us since his cardiac arrest, said: “I’ve experienced the devastating consequences of heart disease first-hand, the money raised through Omaze’s innovative approach to fundraising will help the BHF continue its truly lifesaving research.

“The partnership between BHF and Omaze is truly magnificent, it's raising vital funds and awareness for a charity that’s incredibly important to me - and millions of others who are impacted by heart and circulatory diseases.

“Everyone who enters the prize draw is contributing towards this crucial cause - and of course someone is guaranteed to win the dream home in North London too - even if it’s a little too close to Arsenal for my liking!”
