We’re delighted to announce that James Jopling is joining us as the new head of BHF Scotland
James has extensive experience within the charitable sector, including roles as Head of External Affairs for Shelter Scotland and senior fundraising positions with Oxfam and Cancer Research UK.
Starting in the post on Monday 20 January, James said: “I am hugely excited to take up this role to help deliver the vision of the British Heart Foundation for a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases. With around 1,400 deaths from heart and circulatory diseases every month in Scotland alone, it is clear how much more we all need to do.”
Interim Chief Executive Carolan Davidge said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome James to the BHF. James brings with him a wealth of experience and will be a real asset to our work in Scotland.”
