London Winter Walk

24 - 25 January 2026

Starting at Oval Cricket Ground, take in the highlights of the Thames, London's historic bridges and most iconic landmarks. There are marathon, half-marathon and 10 km distances available on both 24 and 25 January.

How to enter

There are 2 entry options for our London Winter Walk 2026.

Charity funding

Pay a small registration fee and commit to a fundraising target. BHF will cover the cost of your event. As BHF are an official Ultra Challenge partner, you’ll get 50% off the standard registration fee.

10km distance

  • £5 registration fee
  • £150 fundraising target

Half marathon

  • £10 registration fee
  • £225 fundraising target

Marathon

  • £15 registration fee
  • £300 fundraising target

Mixed funding

Pay 50% of the event place yourself and commit to a lower fundraising target.

  • £25 registration fee
  • £75 fundraising target

Half marathon

  • £40 registration fee
  • £120 fundraising target

Marathon

  • £50 registration fee
  • £150 fundraising target

To take part, you must raise the minimum sponsorship for your distance. We require half of your fundraising target 5 weeks before the challenge to secure your place. 

Please note these events are organised by Ultra Challenge. Participants raising funds for British Heart Foundation will be joined by others, raising money for different charities. Find out more on the Ultra Challenge website.
