North Downs 50 Ultra Challenge 

Saturday 1 August 2026 

Sign up to the North Downs 50 Challenge setting out from the Guilford basecamp. Choose your distance, and walk, jog or run the full looped 50 km route, a 25 km half challenge, or even a 10 km challenge. Take in some of the best of the Surrey hills, the North Downs Way, and the surrounding countryside.

How to enter

There are 2 entry options for our North Downs 50 Challenge 2026.

Charity funding

Pay a small registration fee and commit to a fundraising target. BHF will cover the cost of your event. As BHF are an official Ultra Challenge partner, you’ll get 50% off the standard registration fee.

10km distance

  • £20 registration fee
  • £100 fundraising target

25km distance 

  • £30 registration fee
  • £275 fundraising target

50km distance

  • £40 registration fee
  • £375 fundraising target

Mixed funding

Pay 50% of the event place yourself and commit to a lower fundraising target.

10km distance

  • £22.50 registration fee
  • £70 fundraising target

25km distance

  • £50 registration fee
  • £150 fundraising target

50km distance

  • £75 registration fee
  • £225 fundraising target

To take part, you must raise the minimum sponsorship for your distance. We require half of your fundraising target 5 weeks before the challenge to secure your place. 

Please note these events are organised by Ultra Challenge. Participants raising funds for British Heart Foundation will be joined by others, raising money for different charities. Find out more on the Ultra Challenge website.
