Event details
The route
You can choose from two spectacular hiking challenges. Join us in The Chilterns on 10 July, starting and finishing at Kitchener’s Field at Berkhamsted School, or take on The Peaks on 4 September, starting and finishing at Bakewell Showground in the heart of the Peak District.
Both events offer a choice of a 10 or 20 mile route and are open to walkers of all abilities. Take part with friends, family or on your own and meet fellow hikers along the way. You’ll find a fully signed route, regular rest stops, water and plenty of encouragement to keep you moving towards the finish line.
Start times
Start times will differ, depending on if you chose a 10 or 20 mile challenge.
- 10 miles - Arrive from 9am for a 10am start.
- 20 miles - Arrive from 8am for a 9am start.
We’ll be doing a warm-up 20 minutes before each start time.
Getting there
The Chilterns
The start and finish line are located at Kitchener’s Field at Berkhamsted School.
