Walk for Hearts

1 May to 31 May 2025

This May, we're challenging you to walk 20, 31 or 50 miles in a month. 

You can go on short walks in your local park during the week or save your miles up and go on longer walks in the countryside with friends at the weekend. It's your challenge, so you choose when and where you get your miles in.

Join us and step up to the challenge this National Walking Month!

How to enter

You can join the challenge in just a few simple steps:

1. Sign up for free. We'll send you a free BHF t-shirt to wear with pride on your walks if you'd like one. 

2. Set up your fundraising page and share it with friends, family and colleagues to get your first donation.

3. Join our Walk for Hearts Facebook Group to be part of our supportive community and meet your fellow walkers. Here you can share top tips and updates about your challenge!

4. Commit to walking 20, 31 or 50 miles in May.

As a thank you for fundraising for BHF, we'll support you to make it to the finish line. You'll get:

  • support from the BHF team
  • access to our Walk for Hearts Facebook group
  • fundraising tips and advice to help you raise as much as possible
  • a free BHF t-shirt and mile tracker 
  • a free BHF medal if you raise £150
  • a free BHF walking top if you raise £300.

The easiest way to start fundraising is by setting up a JustGiving page.

You can share your page with friends, family and colleagues and on social media. Simply head over your JustGiving account and click the 'Share' button on your fundraising page.
