Starting from our Kendal Base Camp, you can take on the full 100km challenge, looping around Lake Windermere via Ambleside, or a 50km, 25km or a 10km distance. There's something for all experience levels.

There are 2 entry options for our Lake District Ultra Challenge 2026.
Charity funding
Pay a small registration fee and commit to a fundraising target. BHF will cover the cost of your event. As BHF is an official Ultra Challenge series partner, you’ll get 75% off on Charity funding entry (excluding 10kms and 10 miles). Please enter the code ‘HELLO2026’ to redeem the extra discount during checkout.

To take part, you must raise the minimum sponsorship for your distance. We require half of your fundraising target 5 weeks before the challenge to secure your place.
Please note these events are organised by Ultra Challenge. Participants raising funds for British Heart Foundation will be joined by others, raising money for different charities. Find out more on the Ultra Challenge website.
