Where does the ride start and finish?
The London to Brighton Bike Ride starts in Clapham Common, South London, and ends on Brighton Beachfront, where you'll receive a hero's welcome. The 54-mile route is mostly on closed, traffic-free, tarmac roads. View the London to Brighton Bike Ride 2024 route map.
When does the ride take place?
The London to Brighton Bike Ride is on Sunday 15 June 2025 - a great way to celebrate Father's Day. You'll set off in waves every half an hour from 6am to 9.30am. We’ll send out your start time in early May, based on the cycling ability given when you registered.
How challenging is the bike ride?
The London to Brighton Bike Ride is beginner friendly. From first-time riders to cycling pros, we encourage everyone to get involved. We'll even help you to prepare. No-one gets left behind, you can ride at your own pace. We also have solo rider meet-up points and ride rangers in every start wave to help you on the event day.

Can I join as a team?
Yes, you can join the event as a solo rider or as part of a team - just let us know how many people you're riding with and their experience level when you register.

How do I transport my bike back to London?
Our travel service can transport you and your bike from Brighton to London before or after the ride. Morning tickets to the start line (4.30am - 6.30am) and afternoon tickets for when you finish the ride (12pm - 8pm) are £45 each way until 31 March 2025.F
