Transplants. Tiny devices to correct heartbeats. Clot-busting drugs.
These were all discovered thanks to innovations, research, or campaigning by the British Heart Foundation during our 61-year history.
But around 1 in 3 people across the world still die from a heart or circulatory disease. You can help change that.

How to partner with us
Email us at [email protected] and we would be delighted to work with you to put a stop to heart and circulatory diseases sooner.
Our experienced team will discuss your philanthropic ambitions and the many ways we can recognise your support.
Joining our community can include:
- in-depth reports and bespoke updates on the impact your support has made
- the opportunity to meet leading researchers and key figures at the BHF
- networking opportunities
- attending exclusive events and lab visits.
Your support could...

Find a cure for inherited heart muscle diseases
One in 250 people worldwide are affected by inherited heart muscle diseases. We awarded a £30 million grant to a team of researchers called CureHeart. They're developing a groundbreaking cure using gene therapy technology to correct faulty genes.

Make groundbreaking discoveries using Artificial Intelligence
Imagine being able to detect a heart attack or stroke well before it happens. We’re developing the technology to do this which can allow people with cardiovascular diseases to receive more personalised treatments.

Develop future researchers
We invest in talented PhD students. Your support can help the next generation of researchers to pioneer the next big breakthroughs.

Fund research into regenerative medicine
The heart is the only muscle that can’t mend itself. We’re on the cusp of that, but we need your support to help us develop innovative ways to repair, replace or regrow damaged hearts.
Thank you
If you are thinking of supporting us, we are extremely grateful.
With your generosity, we could change the lives of millions of people living with cardiovascular diseases.
