We estimate that in the UK more than half of us will get a heart or circulatory condition in our lifetime.
Give a lifesaving donation today
Your generous donation will help BHF-funded researchers working on congenital heart disease to:
- develop new therapies and support more effective surgery
- study how the placenta could be involved in the development of congenital heart disease
- understand more about a baby before birth and how this might influence their future heart health.
Thank you for your support in helping babies like Rory have a better chance at life ❤️
- This is a required field.
Would you consider giving monthly?
Every donation, big or small, means so much to people affected by heart and circulatory conditions. But giving regularly helps even more. It allows us to fund more research and touch more lives.
Setting up a monthly donation is quick and easy. We hope you’ll consider doing so.
Boost your donation with Gift Aid
When you donate, you’ll be asked if you’d like to add Gift Aid. Doing so is free for you, but means we’ll receive an extra 25p for every £1 donated.
If you’re a UK taxpayer and are donating with your personal money, you can add Gift Aid.
With this extra money, you’ll be helping us save more people, keeping families together for longer.
How we use your donation
Each year we aim to ensure that at least 70p of every £1 donated is available to spend on our lifesaving work. We use the rest for essential costs that help us raise more funds. This means that we can keep doing our important work and make an even bigger difference to people living with heart and circulatory diseases and their loved ones.
We spend donations on:
- funding pioneering medical research into heart and circulatory diseases
- developing products like RevivR – our fast, free and easy-to-use online CPR training course
- creating accessible health information and support content.
Our mission
At British Heart Foundation, we're tirelessly working towards our vision of a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases.
Our mission is to raise money to fund research that saves and improves lives, and support people affected by these conditions.
Your donations help us achieve this.
