Join us on our popular annual bike ride in the Heart of England organised by the Knowle and Dorridge Lions.

Starting and finishing at Packwood House, use your pedal power to weave through the scenic country lanes of Warwickshire.

Choose your challenge with 12, 18, 30 or 60 mile routes.

 

Heart Of England Bike Ride is organised and managed by Knowle and Dorridge Lions Club Charity Trust Fund, a registered charity with number 509993. Riders will need to agree to the Knowle and Dorridge Lions' Terms and Conditions on the day of the ride in order to participate. Please note that 30% of all net proceeds from this event will be retained by the Knowle and Dorridge Lions Club to donate to local causes.

Online registrations close Monday 10 July 2017, however you can register on the day by visiting us at the check in desk.

Getting there by car

Packwood House is 2 miles east of Hockley Heath (on A3400) and 11 miles south-east of central Birmingham.

The Knowle and Dorridge Lions advise that parking is limited at Packwood House so people are encouraged to car share or cycle to the start point if possible.

Getting there on foot

Millennium Way crosses the park at Packwood House.

Getting there by train

Lapworth 1½ miles; Birmingham International 8 miles.

Getting there by bus

From Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon, alight Hockley Heath, 1¾ miles.

Route and times

The route starts and finishes at Packwood House, and weaves it's way through Warwickshire's delightful country lanes. Choose your challenge to cycle approximately 12, 18, 30 or 60 miles.

Toilets will be available at the start/finish point. Please note that there are no changing rooms or lockers available and we ask that you do not bring pets to this event.

There is free entrance to Packwood House for this bike ride.
