Our 30 mile bike ride around the Cotswold's countryside is a perfect family ride. Or if you are looking for something hillier and tougher take on our 50 mile route. Both rides are circular starting and finishing in Cheltenham and have numerous places to stop along the way for rest and refreshments.

Your entry fee covers the cost of organising the event. It's the money you raise that powers our life saving research.

Riders aged 18 and under must be accompanied at all times by an adult.

Completely planned, organised and managed by the British Heart Foundation, this event exists in order to raise funds for our life saving research. Research that will, one day, put a stop to the devastation caused by heart disease.

Creating an online fundraising page is the easiest way to raise money. It takes a few minutes to set up and a link can then be easily shared with your friends and family on social media and by email. Remember, you're taking part in an amazing challenge - people will want to support you.

Make sure you have the right kit

Signing up for this challenge is no mean feat and we want you to tell all your friends and family just what you're doing and why. At the event

When you arrive, if you signed up online you don't need to check in anywhere, but make sure you attach your participant number to your front.

Although this event isn't suitable for pets, spectators are very welcome to come along as your bright red cheer squad.

The route

Our Cotswolds Bike Ride is perfect for all levels of experience. With numerous places to stop in the many villages along the way, and the opportunity to buy baguettes and homemade cakes at the popular midway point Winchcombe School, this really is a great day out.

The event will be signed and marshals will be present at key points along the route. First aid support will be present. Free water and toilets will be available at the start/finish location, and there are plenty of cafes and and public houses en-route. Luggage storage and changing rooms will not be available.

The 500 Club 

If you have £500 or more (excluding GiftAid) pledged by your supporters on your JustGiving page, you'll be eligible to join the 500 Club and receive our exclusive BHF top which can then be worn during your specific challenge.

For teams to be eligible, there must be at least £500 or more online sponsorship pledged per person, per team along with the names of all eligible entries.
