What our swimmers say

Bournemouth Pier to Pier Swim is an amazing day out – but don't just take our word for it! Here's what last year's swimmers had to say about the event.

“This event is wonderful. The atmosphere, the organisation, the whole feel of the event. The size of the buoys is perfect for easy spotting – other events could learn a thing or two from the BHF in terms of how to organise a fabulous, safe and fun swimming event.” – Heidi, BHF swimmer

“Well organised. Staff and other swimmers were great – just a brilliant day out!” – Neal, BHF swimmer

“The organisation of the event was fantastic. All the information [was given] beforehand, with all hats and wristbands posted out – I felt very looked after. The support when finishing was amazing, with lots of people shouting 'well done' and 'congratulations'.” – Kate, BHF swimmer
