This February is Heart Month, a time when we all come together to keep hearts beating.
Your support can help people like Donna who suffered a cardiac arrest at home. She was saved by the quick-thinking actions of her children and a neighbour, who performed CPR. Donna had recently experienced an episode of unexplained fainting, but no cause was identified.
Professor Matt Reed at the University of Edinburgh is leading a BHF-funded clinical trial to test whether an advanced heart monitoring patch can better diagnose heart rhythm problems in people who attend A & E with unexplained fainting. Your gift makes research like this possible. Thank you. ❤️
