Search for BHF Publications - British Heart Foundation

Our resources give vital information about living with a heart condition and how to look after your heart health.

We also have some resources for healthcare professionals and other people who work on heart health issues.

We can only post to UK addresses and do not charge for our publications and other resources, but we rely on donations to help us continue our life-saving work.

Common questions

How can I order some BHF resources?

We have a full range of publications including recipe books, DVDs and posters.

If you know the name of the publication you want, you can search by its title or code number (e.g. G186). You will need to quote this code number when ordering resources by phone, email or post.

Otherwise, enter in keywords such as 'Angina' or 'Cooking,' or click on 'Advanced search' to bring up a range of different search options.

Publications are available to download or order by post. You can also order by calling the BHF Orderline on 0870 600 6566, or emailing orderline@bhf.org.uk. Please note that we can only post to UK addresses.

What are code numbers?

Each resource has a code number (e.g. G186). You will need to quote this code number when ordering resources by phone, email or post, but not when ordering online.

Some resources are produced in other languages and in most cases there is a different code number for each different language version.

For example, G223b would be the code for the Bengali version of the G223 Looking after your heart booklet. Occasionally you may need to give the general code number and also state which language version you want to order. This would be the case with our Heartstart posters.

What is a suggested donation?

The British Heart Foundation makes all its resources available to you without charge. However, we have included a suggested donation next to our DVDs and some of our more expensive resources.

We want to keep providing vital information to help people improve their heart health, so although the donation is optional, please send us one if you can.

You can make a donation when you are ordering your resource online or by calling our Orderline on 0870 600 6566. We can also send organisations a pro forma invoice if you need one.

How long will it take to deliver my order?

We aim to deliver your resources within four working days of receiving your order.

If you are following up an existing order, please phone our Orderline on 0870 600 6566 or email us at orderline@bhf.org.uk. Make sure you have the details of your order, order number and your full postal address including postcode ready so that we can pass your request to our distribution team.

How do I order a large quantity?

If you want to order resources in large quantities, we may contact you to find out more about your order. Sometimes we may not be able to send you all the resources you ask for, but we will do our best to send you what you need.

There is a maximum order quantity for most of our resources so if you need to order more that the quantity stated please phone our Orderline or email us at orderline@bhf.org.uk.

If you are ordering a large number of resources for a workshop, conference or another event, we can send them directly to your venue.

Please remember to order the resources you need as far ahead as possible so they arrive in time for your event. Please call the BHF Orderline on 0870 600 6566 to find out about stock availability and delivery times.
