Big Breeze Bike Ride
Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June 2013

It was great to cycle with like-minded women and have the confidence to get back on the road
We’re delighted to partner
with British Cycling for the Big Breeze Bike
Ride.
One weekend in June will see hundreds of organised bike rides
taking place up and down the country, encouraging women to take to
their bikes with friends and children and become regular
cyclists.

Women and cycling
There are
three male cyclists in the UK for every female cyclist.
British Cycling’s Breeze Network was established to change all
that, and for the second year in a row, the Big Breeze Bike Ride
aims to get British women back on their bikes. Cycling is also
a fantastic way of reducing the risk of heart disease.
Women and heart disease
We hate heart disease and it's a myth
that it affects men more than women. The truth is heart disease and
circulatory disease kills 1 in 3 women, as well as 1 in 3 men. It
also kills nearly three times as many women as breast cancer. We
are fighting to prevent heart
disease and giving women a place
to talk about its impact.
Save lives by fundraising
Your funds are urgently needed to help us
in our fight for every heartbeat. Take part in the Big Breeze Bike
Ride and raise funds to ultimately stop heart disease in its
tracks.
