Joanna Lumley at BGC for Miles Frost Fund

Our celebrity supporters and heart patients took to the trading floor for the annual BGC Charity Day to raise money for the Miles Frost Fund.

BHF Ambassador Pippa Middleton attended alongside George Frost, Joanna Lumley, Sinitta, David Seaman and Sol Campbell to help raise funds for the Miles Frost Fund, to improve diagnosis for the inherited heart condition, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).

The Miles Frost Fund was set up in partnership with us earlier this year, in memory of Miles Frost, who died tragically from a cardiac arrest caused by HCM aged just 31. It’s thought that Miles inherited the condition from his father Sir David Frost, who was found to have the condition when he died.

The BGC Charity Day commemorates the loss of over 600 employees in the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Once a year, BGC distributes all of their global revenues to charities around the world – a tradition that has so far raised over $125 million for causes including the BHF.
