Jaffa All-Red

We are predicting a fruity fracas as Jaffa launches the All-Red orange, just in time for April Fools’ Day.

We are celebrating our new partnership with Jaffa with some April Fools’ Day fun. To mark this new partnership, Jaffa has launched the UK’s first red orange – but not all is as it seems.

Fruity fiction

The 'new' oranges are pillar-box red in colour and sold exclusively in Tesco stores nationwide. An extension of the Jaffa Reds range, the new fruit has red peel, as well as segments.

Truth behind the story

The launch of the All-Red orange marks our two year partnership with Jaffa, which together with Tesco, will be supporting all our bike rides, including the legendary 54-mile London to Brighton Bike Ride

Lorna Staff, Commercial Manager at Jaffa, said: "We are incredibly excited to be launching our partnership with the BHF. It's great to be supporting the BHF cycling series, working together to not only encourage the nation to get healthy and start pedalling, but to help raise an incredible amount each year for the charity’s life saving research."

Unfortunately, the Jaffa All-Red oranges are not real; instead the images have been photoshopped to create the ravishing red peel. However the devastating impact of heart disease is very real for millions of people across the UK.

Together with Tesco, Jaffa will be helping us fight back against heart disease through its support of our bike rides, which raises millions each year for our life saving research.

Join Jaffa this summer

If you want to join Jaffa and take on a cycling challenge for the BHF, why not sign up to our London to Brighton Bike Ride? Places are still available for the ride which takes place on Sunday 19 June.
