Prime Minister David Cameron has pledged his support to the fight against heart disease on World Heart Day (29 September).

The Prime Minister visited the British Heart Foundation stand at the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham today to help raise awareness of cardiovascular disease (CVD).

CVD is responsible for around one in four deaths and takes the lives of more than 100 people under the age of 75 in the UK every day.
