London to Paris bike ride

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of those who took part in this weekend’s London to Paris On-Road Bike Ride 2013.

The ride, supported by Santander, saw our cyclists travel 250 miles to the French capital. In its tenth year, the challenging ride took our cyclists through the heart of Surrey and Kent and the stunning scenery of the French countryside before arriving at the breath taking Palace de Versailles yesterday.

All money raised through this event will go towards funding much-needed research to eradicate coronary heart disease, which remains the UK’s single biggest killer.

We are so grateful to all our riders for showing such determination and using their pedal power to raise funds in the fight against heart disease. Every pound raised helps us to fund pioneering research that will change lives. Your fundraising is so very important to us and we would like to remind you to pay in the money you have raised.

It’s also important to remember that you can still talk to friends and family about your achievement and top up your fundraising total.

Feel inspired to get on your bike? There is still time to register for the Manchester to Blackpool Night Ride which is taking place Saturday 28th September 2013.
