Inspiration Heart Hero Award

 

This award will go to an exceptional person, who’s shown courage and a fearless determination to succeed at everything they do for the BHF. This could be demonstrated through their fundraising efforts, taking part in a physical challenge, organising an event, volunteering activities or demonstrating that their efforts have been a big inspiration to others.

Who’s eligible?

  • Someone who’s arranged an event for the BHF
  • BHF Volunteers
  • A fundraiser extraordinaire
  • Heart and circulatory patients who are doing something amazing
  • Someone who has championed our research

Nominations should demonstrate:

  • Who they are and how they’re connected to the BHF
  • Why and how they support the BHF
  • What they’ve done to be inspirational
  • How they’ve inspired others

My Healthcare Hero Award

 

This healthcare professional has gone above and beyond to help you and your family. They might have helped you manage your heart or circulatory condition, raised awareness of the associated risk factors, or taught lifesaving CPR skills. Through their profession or interest they’re determined to make a difference.

Who is eligible

Anyone working in the heart and circulatory diseases health area:

  • Nurses
  • Surgeons
  • Heartstart teachers
  • Call Push Rescue trainers in the community
  • GPs
  • First Responders
  • Cardiac rehab instructors
  • Heart & Circulatory Support Group

Nominations will demonstrate:

  • What profession they're in
  • How they use their profession to improve the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions
  • How are they making a difference

Nominate a healthcare hero

Young Heart Hero Award - 18 and under

 

Our Young Heart Hero award will go to an exceptional person who’s under 18 years of age at the time of nomination. This person is someone who’s done something amazing for the BHF, and is a source of inspiration to others.

Who’s eligible?

  • Fundraisers
  • Volunteers
  • Case study [that has been featured in a BHF campaign?]
  • A blogger/vlogger/social media champion

Nominations should demonstrate:

  • Who they are and how they’re connected to the BHF
  • Why and how they support the BHF
  • What they’ve done to be inspirational in beating heart and circulatory diseases
  • How they’ve inspired others to join them
  • What the impact has been
